Shandong Serin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Tank Farm Project Nears Full Completion, Trial Operation to Begin Next Month
Recently, Shandong Serin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. announced that its key tank farm construction project has entered the final sprint phase and is about to be fully completed。This critical infrastructure milestone marks a major breakthrough in the company's strategic layout in the petrochemical storage sector, injecting strong momentum into enhancing regional supply chain service capabilities and market competitiveness.
Since the project's launch, the company's engineering team has worked closely with construction partners, strictly adhering to international leading engineering standards. They successfully overcame challenges such as complex geological conditions and winter construction, always prioritizing safety, environmental protection, and project quality. Currently, the main storage tanks, material conveying pipelines, and supporting utilities of the tank farm are mostly ready, with intelligent monitoring systems, fire emergency facilities, and environmental protection treatment devices undergoing final joint debugging. The upcoming tank farm has a total designed capacity of 1.6 million cubic meters, capable of storing and transshipping various liquid petrochemical products. Equipped with an automated warehouse management system, it enables dynamic inventory monitoring and intelligent loading/unloading scheduling, significantly improving operational efficiency and safety.
According to the project leader, the tank farm is scheduled to start trial operation in June 2025. During the trial period, the team will carry out phased equipment performance testing, process optimization, and emergency drills, focusing on verifying core indicators such as tank safety interlocks, material conveying accuracy, and waste gas treatment efficiency. Meanwhile, the company has completed pre-job training and qualification certification for the operation team to ensure all processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
